IFA Meets with Ethiopian President Girma Wolde-Giorgis |

International Fund for Africa (IFA) Founder and President Anteneh Roba, MD and IFA Co-Founder Seble Nebiyeloul, MHA met with Ethiopian President Girma Wolde-Giorgis at Ethiopia's National Palace in Addis Ababa as part of an ambitious project aimed at helping homeless dogs that roam free in Ethiopia's capital city. The risk of rabies to human beings and wildlife is high. International Fund for Africa's meeting with President Wolde-Giorgis included an appeal for support for programs designed to vaccinate, spay/neuter and otherwise assist the homeless dogs of Addis Ababa. In addition to the veterinary project, IFA discussed projects currently underway with President Wolde-Giorgis that include helping infants in the hospitals of Addis Ababa along with future projects that will assist people living in rural Ethiopia.
