Best Friends Animal Society and Animal People Join IFA for a Tour of Vet Clinics in Addis Ababa |

International Fund for Africa Co-Founders Anteneh Roba and Seble Nebiyeloul were joined by Gregory Castle, a founding partner and acting President of Best Friends Animal Society, along with award-winning journalist and "Animal People News" editor Merritt Clifton for a tour of local animal clinics that provide vaccinations and sterilization surgeries for companion animals. During a tour of three veterinary clinics in Addis Ababa, the group observed the surgical sterilization of a dog and interacted with local veterinary clinic staff. Best Friends Animal Society and Human Society International have previously partnered with IFA in the rescue of homeless dogs and by providing financial assistance for a government program that sterilizes and vaccinates homeless dogs in Addis Ababa.
