IFA Co-Founder, Anteneh Roba, M.D. and Elizabeth Kucinich (Director of Public Affairs for PCRM and wife of Congressman Dennis Kucinich, D-Ohio) were recently interviewed by Shirley Wilkes-Johnson of KPFT 90.1 FM Radio. The interview includes a discussion about the work of IFA in Africa and the Great Ape Protection Act (H.R. 1326), which would prohibit the breeding, transport and invasive research of great apes (chimpanzees, bonobos, gorillas, orangutans, and gibbons). The legislation seeks to stop government funded research and would require the release of all federally-owned great apes into sanctuaries.
